The project is part of a large-scale integrate farm project (2000 ha) in Kakheti Georgia. This component envisions introducing customized high-quality species of pistachios in Georgia with the purpose to develop pistachio value chain (including processing facility) in Georgia and make this product an important export commodity with the total value of 5 billion in the end. The farm itself with produce 50 million USD worth of exports harvested on 1000 ha land. The total value of the investment in this component is 50 million USD over several years, part of which already is planted. TBSC developed a comprehensive business plan and investment proposal for the developing entire value chain for this strategic commodity for Georgia.
