Cluster Diagnostics of Cosmetics Cluster in Georgia

The project began as part of the “EU Innovative Action for Private Sector Competitiveness in Georgia,” a collaborative effort between the European Union and four UN Agencies: UNDP, FAO, UNIDO, and IOM.

UNIDO’s role in the project was to discover and nurture clusters across Georgia. For the emerging Cosmetics cluster in Georgia,

TBSC was entrusted with the task of conducting a cluster diagnostic study.

During the course of this study, TBSC conducted in-depth interviews with representatives, associations, and service providers within the cluster. Additionally, TBSC conducted desk research and analyzed key economic indicators specific to this sector/cluster to assess its historical performance.
