The project began as part of the “EU Innovative Action for Private Sector Competitiveness in Georgia,” a collaborative effort between the European Union and four UN Agencies: UNDP, FAO, UNIDO, and IOM.
UNIDO’s role in the project was to discover and nurture clusters across Georgia. For the emerging greenhouses cluster in the Imereti region,
TBSC was entrusted with the task of conducting a cluster diagnostic study.
In the course of this study, TBSC conducted over 30 in-depth interviews with representatives, associations, and service providers within the cluster. Additionally, TBSC conducted desk research and analyzed key economic indicators specific to this sector/cluster to assess its historical performance.
