The Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, in cooperation with The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and with TBSC Consulting coordination is announcing a project for Georgian flower growers and flower importers. The objective of this project is to assist Georgian flower industry to develop import substitution and export orientation through the introduction and transferring of the leading Dutch flower growing and trading technologies.
Within the framework of this project, a seminar is planned for Georgian flower growers and flower importers as well as the enterprises who wish to start flower growing in Georgia. The seminar will be led by leading Dutch industry experts, who will present information about modern Dutch flower industry practices. During the seminar, the Georgian flower growers or potential growers will be introduced to the modern knowledge and best practices in the area of flower growing and flower commerce. Participation in the seminar is free of charge.
After the needs assessment is carried out, it is possible (but not yet certain) to organize a study tour for Georgian enterprises to the Netherlands, during which Georgian growers will be introduced to Dutch best practices in the practical way and will be connected to the key players and potential partners in the industry (e.g., providers of greenhouse equipment, seeds, seedlings and bulbs, dealers and traders, potential co-investors).
The participants Georgian entrepreneurs should meet the following criteria:
• Should be registered as a legal person (including individual entrepreneurs);
• Should have some knowledge of the flower industry;
• Should have a realistic business plan to start or expand flower growing;
• Knowledge of the English language is an advantage.

Selected candidates will have a small interview
It is planned to select 30 participants but from each company only one will be allowed to attend.
