SHORT INTENSIVE ANALYSIS (DUE DILIGENCE) PRECEDING 2,5 USD MILLION INVESTMENT. (2008)

The Polish Embassy in Georgia was considering the purchase of a new building for the Embassy for a price exceeding two million USD. Due to budgetary-year issues, Embassy staff had only one week to complete due-diligence on the purchase. The Embassy requested that TBSC perform the due diligence, primarily due to the ability of TBSC to organize and manage a full-scale due-diligence in the space of one week. TBSC mobilized and managed experts in four different fields (i.e., valuation, legal, engineering and seller). Work included briefing the experts on what needed to be done, managing and supervising their work and consolidating their results into a ten-page due-diligence opinion letter. Based on the due diligence, the Embassy went ahead and purchased the building.
